John E. Gregory, Jr.

Mr. John E. Gregory, Jr., 36, of Kernersville, NC and formerly of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest Monday, March 11, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Gregory was born in South Boston, VA August 3, 1982 to John E. Sr. and Mary L. Hilliard Gregory. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA, attended Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, VA and Mars Hill College, Asheville, NC. He was the owner/operator of Top Notch Moving and Transport. John was a member of Wharton Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, Nelson, VA. In his free time he loved racing, off roading and traveling. John leaves to cherish his memories his parents, John E. Gregory Sr. and Mary L. Gregory of Buffalo Junction, VA; his brother, Kenneth L. Gregory, Sr. (Dominique) of Nelson, VA; seven aunts, five uncles; his fiance, Kelli Myers of Kernersville, NC, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Wharton Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, Nelson, VA with Rev. Dr. James A. Hudson, Jr. delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Wharton Memorial Garden, Nelson. Public viewing for family and friends will begin 10:00 AM Friday. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 PM. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
