Mr. John “Doc” Holloway, 77 of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Holloway was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on June 24th, 1944 to the late Odell and Nannie Ophelia Holtsclaw Holloway. He attended West End High School in Skipwith, VA, and was an employee of Aaron’s Creek Farm for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and visiting family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by a brother, Irvin Holloway, and two sisters, Oma Lee Small and Tursey Lee Boswell. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Queen Holloway of the home; one daughter, Brenda Holloway of Clarksville, VA; four sons, Jamiel Jackson of Farmville, VA, Jamar Jackson and Jarrell Jackson both of Buffalo Junction, VA and Jahron Jackson of Richmond, VA; a host of grandchildren, Nikki Clay (Tony), Devan Holloway, Jazmyne Holloway, JaKayla Jackson, Juelz Durham, Ja’Kyra Jackson, Jadyen Jackson, Immanuel Jennings, Roman Jackson, Jayce Jackson, Janyia Wimbish and Tatyana Wimbish; three great-grandchildren, Kasai Holloway, Aneya and Ali Clay; two sisters, Clara Lee of Goochland, VA and Leonia Roberts of Oxford, NC, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Public viewing for Mr. John Holloway will be conducted Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A mask is required for all viewings. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Clarksville, VA.
