Jerry Lee Hilliard

Mr. Jerry Lee Hilliard, 69, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Hilliard, affectionately known as “Biscuit”, was born in Clarksville, VA on November 10, 1954 to the late Leonard and Viola Richardson Hilliard. He joined Saint John Baptist Church at an early age, and was previously employed by Burlington Industries until their closure. He was a retiree of Food Lion Distribution Center in Henderson, NC.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Hilliard, Sarah Hilliard and Lillie Hilliard-Terry; two brothers, James Paschee and Leonard Hilliard, Jr.; nephew, Leonard Hilliard, III; and niece, Bettie Terry.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory four sons, Shelly Gregory (Monique) and Alphonso Davis (Ciera) all of Danville, VA; Detrick Hilliard of Clarksville, VA and Travis Watkins of Roanoke, VA; daughter, Tasha Watkins of Roanoke, VA; twelve grandchildren; six sisters, Evangelist Mary Harrison (Gills) of Littleton, NC, Rosa Newton, Nannie Smith, and Blanchie Hilliard all of Clarksville, VA, Dorothy Hilliard and Mattie Hilliard of South Boston, VA; devoted nephew, Eric Smith; devoted friend, Rudy Hilliard, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
