Jerry Lee Crawley

Mr. Jerry Lee Crawley, 72, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at VCU-MCV  Medical Center in Richmond, VA.  Mr. Crawley was born in Charlotte County, VA December 13, 1934 to the late Manuel and Fleeta Crawley. He attended the schools of Charlotte County and was a member of Finneywood Baptist Church.   Cherishing his memories are four sons, Sylvester Walker of Maryland, Jerry Lee Crawley Jr. of Richmond, VA, Jermaine Crawley and Dewayne Crawley,  both of Sacramento, Ca; three daughters, Teresa Johnson of Richmond, VA,  Shorrona Crawley and Latoya Crawley, both of Sacramento, CA; 9 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Pauline Roberts of East Orange, NJ, Irene Davis of Chesapeake, VA and Betty C. Battle of Burlington, NJ; two brothers, Manuel Crawley, Jr. of Irvington, NJ and Erving Crawley of Chase City, VA; one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law,  two  brothers-in-law, one sister-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.   Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Lee Crawley will be conducted 2:00 P.M Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA. Burial will follow in Finneywood Baptist Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA.  The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home.   Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St., Chase City, VA.
