Jerome "Rome" Mosley

Mr. Jerome "Rome" Mosley, 58, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at VCU/MCV Hospitals, Richmond, VA. Mr. Mosley was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on December 19, 1957 to the late Robert Lee and Martha Mosley Smith. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and at an early age joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church # 1, Clarksville, VA; later joining New Light Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA. Mr. Mosley was a former concrete finisher for C&S Construction and later was employed by Southside Grave and Vault. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mosley was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew Smith and Ronnie Mosley and one sister, Joanne Mosley Haynes. Cherishing his memories are one daughter, Janiqua La’Shay Mosley of Red Oak, VA, five sisters, Stella Edwards of Baltimore, MD, Shirley Small (James) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Diane Smith of Clarksville, VA, Connie Terry (James) of South Boston, VA and Varnell Guy (Curtis) of Greensboro, NC; six aunts; devoted cousin, Keith Fields and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Jerome Mosley will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Friday, October 21, 2016 at New Light Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
