Jerome Fields

Mr. Jerome Fields, 54, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Fields was born in Mecklenburg County, VA February 7, 1958 to the late John L. and Hattie Jeffries Fields. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Saint Level Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a postal worker in Bridgeport, CT prior to returning to Virginia. Cherishing his memories are seven sisters, Annie Jenkins and Rosa Osborne of Chase City, VA, Flordell Watts of Red Oak, VA, Elaine Bullock of Clarksville, VA, Mary Fields of Bridgeport, CT and Catherine Fields of South Hill, VA; three brothers, Walter Fields of Clarksville, VA, James Fields (Peggy) of Chase City, VA and Marshall Fields of Bridgeport, CT; one aunt, Aurelia Jefferson; one uncle, Thomas Jeffries; devoted friend, Joyce Newton Gooch and  vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Jerome Fields will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Saint Level Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Toney W. Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing for Mr. Fields will be Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
