Jeremiah Wilson

Mr. Jeremiah Wilson, age 54, affectionately known as “Bally” entered eternal rest on Monday, May 30, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Wilson was born in Charlotte County, VA on March 19, 1962 to JoAnn Staten Wilson and the late Elijah Wilson. He attended the public schools of Charlotte County, VA, and at an early age joined Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA. His favorite hobbies included fishing, working on cars and gardening. In addition to his father, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his son, Latimore Trent. Cherishing his memories are one daughter, Keturah S. Brooks of Lunenburg, VA; his mother, JoAnn S. Wilson of Wylliesburg, VA; two grandchildren, Amiyah White and Dequavious Roberts; one sister, Jacqueline A. Wilson of Richmond, VA; one brother, Russ Wilson (Michelle) of Richmond, VA; niece and nephew Summer A. and Dallas E. Wilson; devoted friends, Diane Gilmore, Dennis Puryear, Contrell and Marie Farrar, Steven  and Amy Spurlock and Karen Davis and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Jeremiah Wilson will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Rev. Stanley T. Scott, Sr. delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery, Drakes Branch, VA. Funeral arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.   Services 11:00 A.M.
