Jean Carol Winn

Ms. Jean Carol Winn, 74, of South Hill, VA entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her residence. Ms. Winn was born April 2, 1948 in Bronx, NY to the late Wilkey P., Sr. and Frances Mosley. She was a 1966 graduate of West End High School in Skipwith, VA. She was a member of Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church in Chase City, VA. Ms. Winn was formerly employed by the East Orange Fire Department in New Jersey as a Senior Fire Alarm Operator. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, cooking and dancing. In addition to her parents, Ms. Winn was preceded in death by her siblings, Wilkey P. Mosley, Jr. and Ronald Mosley, Sr. She leaves to cherish her loving memory a son, Garrett Winn (Aliya) of Maple Shade, NJ, daughter, Ann Winn-Shim of Conway, SC; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Gordon of Chester, VA; her ex-husband, Garrett L. Winn of Boydton, VA; her special friend, Robert E. Faulk of Dillon, SC and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A public viewing for Ms. Jean Carol Winn will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
