Jasper Junior Stokes

Mr. Jasper Junior Stokes, 77, of Wylliesburg, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Salem Health and Rehab Center, Salem, VA. Mr. Stokes was born in Richmond, VA on October 12, 1942 to the late Jasper Evans and Inell Stokes. He attended the schools of Nottaway County, VA, and attended United in Christ in Bronx, NY. Mr. Stokes was a retired truck driver, and a former employee of Paterson New Jersey Sheriff’s Correctional Facility. In his spare time he enjoyed collecting antique cars. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Ivette Stokes of Wylliesburg, VA; three daughters, Wanda Black of Petersburg, FL, Jackie Stokes and Inell Furman both of Paterson, NJ; one son, Randy Earle of Paterson, NJ; two step-daughters, Maria Marrero and Lydia Rasile both of New Jersey; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marrero of Bronx, NY; one sister-in-law, Carmen Marrero, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. No services are planned. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
