Miss Jasmine Latrice Jones, 26, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at VCU Community Memorial Hospital, South Hill, VA. Miss Jones was born in South Hill, VA on July 21, 1989 to Timothy Burton and Charita R. Alexander. She was a 2007 graduate of Bluestone High School in Skipwith, VA. After graduation, she continued her education at Southside Virginia Community College in Keysville, VA. She attended New Hope Baptist Church in Boydton, VA, later joining Greater Hayes Grove Baptist Church in South Hill, VA. Miss Jones was a crew trainer at McDonalds, Corp. in South Hill. She was preceded in death by one sister, Latasha Harris and paternal grandmother, Lena Burton. Cherishing her memories are her mother, Charita R. Alexander of Baskerville, VA; father, Timothy Burton (Alfreda) of Lacrosse, VA; six brothers, Charles D. Reynolds of Richmond, VA, Cameron D. Coleman of Baskerville, VA, Michael Bullock of Chase City, VA, Timothy Burton, Jr. of Savannah, GA, Dwayne Burton of Clarksville, VA and Jermaine Harrison of South Hill, VA; two sisters, Angela Mosley of Richmond, VA and Katrina Harrison of South Hill, VA; maternal grandparents, Evangelist Virgie and Fell Jeffers of Boydton, VA; paternal grandfather, David Burton of Drakes Branch, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Jasmine Latrice Jones will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Earl Terry and Rev. Edward L. Harrington, officiating. Burial will follow in Greater Hayes Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, South Hill, VA. Public viewing will be held on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M.
