Janet Michelle Young

Ms. Janet Michelle Young, 61, of Clarksville, VA, entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 12, 2015 after a long battle with cancer in Texas. Ms. Young was born in Newark, NJ September 12, 1953 to Thelma Williams Young and the late James Robert Young, Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Young and James Robert Young, Jr. Cherishing her memories are two sons, Bruce Strickland Jr. (Nickey) of Dallas, TX and Damion Strickland of Newark, NJ; one daughter, Toni Mangum of Clarksville, VA ;her mother, Thelma Williams Young of Boydton, VA; two brothers, Stephen Young(Shirley) and Kevin Young (Zella) both of Boydton, VA; two sisters, La Verne Young of Newark ,NJ and Karen Young of Washington, D.C. and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Ms. Janet Michelle Young will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at C.H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Elias Fitcheard, officiating.
