Janet Edwina Bullock

Ms. Janet Edwina Bullock, 54, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital in South Hill, VA. Ms. Bullock was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on April 12, 1967 to Eloise J. Bullock and the late Jerry Benjamin. She attended Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, VA. and Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Ms. Bullock enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and friends. In addition to her father, Ms. Bullock was preceded in death by her brother, William “Chess” Bullock. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughters, Tamika Barksdale (O’Brien) and April Bullock both of Clarksville, VA; three grandchildren, Ja’Hayveion Jennings, Kai’Jon Nelson and Sa’Niyah Nelson all of Clarksville, VA; her mother, Eloise J. Bullock of Clarksville, VA; two brothers, Mark Smith (Nick) of Clarksville, VA and Sam Benjamin of Washington, DC; two sisters, Phyllis Bullock and Sheila Smith both of Clarksville, VA; her ex-husband, Lee Downey, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
