Jamond Laquan Salley

Mr. Jamond LaQuan Salley, 16, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Friday, October 17, 2014 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mr. Salley was born in South Hill, VA, February 23, 1998 to Ernestine Parrish and Christopher Salley. He was an 11th grade student at Park View High School and a member of Williams Grove Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. Mr. Salley was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Annie Gregory and paternal grandparents, William (Bill) and Annie C. Salley. Cherishing his memories are his parents, Ernestine Parrish and Christopher Salley (Janice) of Chase City, VA; four sisters, Chantel S. Parrish, Shayla Boyd, Julia Greene and Janice Greene all of Chase City, VA; six brothers, Christopher Boyd of Pittsburgh, PA, Lamar Williams and Matthew Greene both of Clarksville, VA, Devonte Saunders of Chase City, VA, SPC Monty Greene (Brentey) of Watertown, NY and Rondell Maddox of Queens, NY; nine aunts, eight uncles and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Jamond LaQuan Salley will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 25, 2014 at the Robert E. Lee Building, 121 E. Second St., Chase City, VA with Rev. Andy R. Hargrove, officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA.
