He attended Mecklenburg County Schools and was a former employee of McDonalds.Cherishing his memories is a son, Javion Howerton, his parents James Howerton of Georgia and Jacqueline Newton of Buffalo Junction, VA; one sister, Racquel Terry of Oxford, NC; one brother, Ernest Oliver Jr. of Oxford, NC; paternal grandparents, Louis and Louise Howerton of Clarksville, VA; maternal grandfather Emerson Newton of Maryland and a vast number of aunts, uncles other loving relatives and caring friends.A graveside service for Mr. Jamie L. Howerton will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at Island Hill Christian Church, Clarksville, VA.Arrangements are by C.H.
