James Tyree Bullock

Mr. James Tyree Bullock, 70, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Chippenham Hospital, Richmond. Mr. Bullock was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on May 14, 1951 to the late Floyd McClure and Nannie Bell Bullock. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, and attended Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Skipwith, VA. Mr. Bullock was formerly employed by the City of Richmond, and in his spare time enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. In addition to his parents, Mr. Bullock was preceded in death by a grandson, Demarcus, and his siblings, Clinton, Walter, Willie Earl, Betty jean, Robert and Dorothy. He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, James McFail, Tyrone McFail and Travis McFail; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence, John and Harold all of Chase City, VA; three sisters, Margaret Alexander and Geraldine Goodridge both of Richmond, and Linda McClure of Chase City, VA, one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. James T. Bullock will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Bishop Vincent Harris officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing for family and friend will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:45 P.M. A mask will be required for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
