James F. Andrews, Esq.

Mr. James F. Andrews, Esq.,81, of Clarksville, VA died peacefully on February 1, 2024.

A long-time resident of Dinwiddie County, Mr. Andrews was born on February 15, 1942. He was preceded in death by his parents, James R. Andrews and Ruby P. Vaughan, and his brother, William E. Andrews. He received two degrees from the University of Virginia: an undergraduate degree and a law degree. A retired attorney, he enjoyed fishing, cooking and following University of Virginia sports.

Mr. Andrews is survived by his wife, Linda Andrews; his daughters, Kelly Andrews and Stephanie Bass; two sisters, and a grandson.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Andrews requested donations be sent to the Virginia Athletics Foundation (P.O. Box 400833, Charlottesville, VA 22904-4833 or 1-800-626-8723) or Kenwood United Methodist Church in Dinwiddie, VA.
