James Edward Daniel, Jr.

Mr. James Edward Daniel, Jr., 58, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Daniel was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on January 14, 1957 to the late James Edward Daniel, Sr. and Tempie Terry Daniel. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County and was a member of Antioch United Church of Christ, Townsville, NC. He was a former employee of Russel Stover Candies, having been employed there for ten years. He had a passion for model cars and Michael Jackson, and enjoyed mechanical work. His greatest passion of all was being a loving father to his children. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Ann Terry. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Sandra D. Daniel of Buffalo Junction, VA; seven children, Cedric Daniel, Triston Daniel, Travis Daniel and Treasure Daniel all of Buffalo Junction VA, Shawn Daniel (Candace) of Brunswick County, VA, Carvelle Daniel (Latoya) of Richmond, VA and Sharyan Daniel of South Hill, VA; five grandchildren; his mother, Tempie Terry Daniel of Clarksville, VA; three brothers, Leonard and William Daniel of Buffalo Junction, VA and Tommy Daniel (Brenda) of Chase City, VA; four sisters, Sarah L. Jones (Kenneth) of Bullock, NC, Teresa Daniel of Philadelphia, PA, Mariette Liggon (Rex) of Clarksville, VA and Wanda Smith (Adrian) of Buffalo Junction, VA; numerous nieces and nephews and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. James Edward Daniel, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hargrove, officiating.
