Mr. Ivan Alexander Evans, 52, of Victoria, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at Southside Community Hospital, Farmville, VA. Mr. Evans was born January 2, 1954 in Yonkers, NY to the late Mary C. Marable Evans and Louis Alexander Evans. He was educated in the Yonkers Public School system, and was a member of Messiah Baptist Church, Yonkers, NY. Cherishing his memories are four children, LaShonne Barnes and Ivan M. Evans both of Yonkers, NY, Alex Evans, Kississimme, Fl and Alisha Evans of Oviedo, Fl; five grandchildren, three sisters, Verneda Evans Jackson of Orlando, FL, Florenz Robinson and Marsha Evans both of Yonkers, NY and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside funeral service for Mr. Ivan Alexander Evans will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, Victoria, VA with Verneda E. Jackson, Officiating.
