Irving Lee Goode

Mr. Irving Lee Goode, 46 of Wylliesburg, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA. Mr. Goode was born in South Boston, VA May 20, 1969. He received his education in the Charlotte County Public Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA. He was previously employed by Johbil Inc., Russell Stover Candies and Dollar General Distribution Center. Cherishing his memories are three children, Travis Goode of Clover, VA, Shakira and Shemar Goode of Boydton, VA; his mother, Barbie Ann Goode of Wylliesburg, VA; one brother, Kevin Staten (Lawanda) of Red Oak, VA; one sister, Betty S. Goode of Red Oak, VA; three uncles, seven aunts; a devoted friend, Cheryl Simmons and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Irving Lee Goode will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 26, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA with Rev. Opie Terrell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing will be held on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until 4:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.  Services 3:00 P.M.
