Irma Elizabeth Dailey

Mrs. Irma Elizabeth Dailey, 79, of Randolph, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, July 22, 2012 at The Woodview, South Boston, VA. Mrs. Dailey was born in Charlotte County, VA December 7, 1932 to the late Clem and Percy Harris Davis. She attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and was a graduate of Virginia State College, Petersburg, VA. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA, and a retiree of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Cherishing her memories are her husband of 55 years, Willie L. Dailey, of Randolph, VA; one daughter, Karen Dailey of Queens, NY; two grandchildren, Amber and Alec Dailey of Rochelle Park, NJ and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Irma Elizabeth Dailey will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Shiloh Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA with Rev. Marvin Harris delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in Thyne Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Chase City, VA. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
