Inez Dailey

Miss Inez Dailey 84, of Red Oak, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Miss Dailey was born in Charlotte County, VA June 5, 1924 to the late Bylinda and Nannie Edmunds Dailey. She was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA. Miss Dailey was preceded in death by her son Berman Dailey.   Cherishing her memories are four children, Ellen Brown of Burtonsville, MD, Sarah Dailey and Willie Dailey of Washington, DC and Irma Dailey of Red Oak, VA; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine Brown (Herman) of Saxe, VA and Rose Lee Dailey of Red Oak, VA; three brothers, Henry Dailey (Marie) and Norris Dailey (Ruth) all of Red Oak, VA and Howard Dailey of Drakes Branch, VA. and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.   Funeral services for Miss Inez Dailey will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Rev. Dr. James E. Scott, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until service time.   Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St., Chase City, VA.
