Mr. Howard Willie Dailey, 84, of Red Oak, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Keysville, VA after a lengthy illness. Mr. Dailey was born in Charlotte County, VA on July 24, 1937 to the late Bylinder and Nannie Edmonds Dailey. He received his education in the Charlotte County school system, and worked for many years as a skilled logger before his health failed. He enjoyed working in the logging business and being in the woods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by the mother of his first three children, Mary Mosley; three sons, Herbert, Howard and Joshua Mosley; daughter, Blanche Goode; his lifelong partner, Eva Wilson, three sisters and six brothers. He leaves to cherish his loving memory five sons, Ben (Tayquawsha) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Percel (Karen), Randy (Shavon), Harvey and Acree all of Saxe, VA; one daughter, Della Niplett (Leonard) of Keysville, VA, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren; sister, Lorraine Brown; brother, Norris Dailey (Ruth), and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Howard Willie Dailey will be conducted 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at the chapel of C. H Harris Funeral Home, 5717 Highway 58, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Philip Staten officiating. Interment will be private. Public viewing will begin on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service. A mask is required for all viewings and chapel services. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
