Herman A. Wilson

Mr. Herman Alfred Wilson, 61, of Saxe, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mr. Wilson was born in Charlotte County, VA May 20, 1950 to the late Thelma and Robert Wilson. He attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and was a member of First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA He was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Wilson. Cherishing his memories are four sisters, Terussell Pettus (Charlie) of Red Oak, VA., Isabell and Annette of Saxe, VA and Ruby Wilson of Baltimore, MD; five nieces, Pamela Wilson, Faye Moorman, Teresa Scott, Lisa Pettus and Cassandra Wilson, four nephews, Timothy, McKinley, Jermaine and Aaron Wilson, three devoted friends, Frank Jeffress, Thomas Wilson and Bylinder Dailey and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Herman Alfred Wilson will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 4, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Wylliesburg, VA with Rev. Opie Terrell, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
