Hazel Elizabeth Watson Buford

Mrs. Hazel Estelle Watson Buford, 86, of Mount Vernon, NY and formerly of Keysville, VA entered eternal rest April 4, 2007 in, Far Rockaway, NY. Mrs. Buford was born in Keysville, VA April 28, 1920 to the late Governor and Pernolia Cheeks Watson. She was a retired Nurse’s Assistant at Mount Vernon Hospital, Mount Vernon, NY. Cherishing her memories are three sisters, Dorothy W. Law (John), Anna W. Waites and Rev. P. Frances Watson; one brother, Harry R. Watson Sr., (Bertha); four nephews, four nieces, several great nephews and great nieces and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Estelle Watson Buford will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 11, 2007at New Rehoboth Baptist Church, Keysville, VA with Rev. Ricky Allen, officiating and Rev. P. Frances Watson delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
