Miss Gracie Lee Lyons, 51, of Washington, DC entered eternal rest Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC. Miss Lyons was born in Mecklenburg County, VA January 6, 1967 to Ralph V. Lyons, Sr. and the late Patsy Carter Lyons. She was a graduate of Central High School, and was a security guard for AlliedBarton Security Services, Washington, DC. Cherishing her memories are her four children, Sha’Kim Lyons, Ronnie Lyons, She’Maka Barnett and Ra’Zaya Lyons all of Washington, DC; four grandchildren, father, Ralph V. Lyons, Sr. of Chase City, VA; two brothers, Ralph V. Lyons, Jr. of Chase City, VA and Michael A. Lyons of Suitland, MD; one sister, Cheryl D. Lyons of Chase City, VA; grandmother, Carrie Carter and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Gracie Lee Lyons will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA with Rev. Willie L. Carter, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
