Gloria Tucker Reynolds

Mrs. Gloria Tucker Reynolds, 78, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Mecklenburg County, VA to the late Will and Callie Young Tucker. She received her education in the Mecklenburg County public schools and was a member of the  Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, South Hill, VA. Mrs. Reynolds was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, dancing and music. Cherishing her memories are her husband, James Marshall Reynolds of Boydton, VA; ten children, Dennis Tucker (Elke) of Manassas, VA, Kenneth Tucker and  Wanda Reynolds Williams (Rodney) both of Boydton, VA, Marie Tucker Webb (Claiborne)  and Michael T. Reynolds (Frances) both of Durham, NC, Della Braschi of Wake Forest, NC, Gloria Reynolds (Miguel) of St. Cloud, FL, Wilson L. Reynolds (Juanita) of Unionville, VA, Charles N. Reynolds (Shantell) of Clayton, NC, Stevie E. Reynolds (Jessica) of Chesterfield, VA; two stepchildren, James Reynolds (Bernice) of Buoy, MD and William Reynolds (Stacy) of Winston Salem, NC; 35 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Martha Tucker, Lillian Tucker, Rosa Wallace, Annie Hilliard, Bell Tucker and Inell Hayes; five brothers, Eugene , Hillary, Joe, Zell and Will Tucker and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria Tucker Reynolds will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, South Hill, VA with Brother Dale Wood, officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Baptist Church Cemetery, Buffalo Junction, VA. Public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Services  1:00 P.M.
