Gloria Ann Pearson Royster

Mrs. Gloria Ann Pearson Royster, 76, of Bullock, NC entered eternal rest on Monday, August 23, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Royster was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on April 13, 1945 to the late Joseph, Sr. and Annie Small Pearson. She was a 1963 graduate of West End High School in Clarksville, VA, and was a member of Island Hill Christian Church. Mrs. Royster was formerly employed by Lenox China in Oxford, NC. In her spare time, she enjoyed studying her bible, watching game shows, and surfing the internet. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Royster was preceded in death by two brothers, Lester Small and Willis Pearson, and three sisters, Martha Royster, Elsie Pearson and Alice Royster. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted husband, Allen Royster of Bullock, NC; three sons, Stephen Royster (Angela) and Robert Royster (Kim) all of Oxford, NC and Dwayne Royster (Wakisha) of Alton, VA; daughter, Darlene R. Macon of Bullock, NC; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph Pearson (Tasha) of Clarksville, VA and Freeman B. Pearson of Durham, NC; three sisters, Mary M. Pearson of Clarksville, VA, Lydia P. Roberts (Eugene) of Townsville, NC and Henrietta P. McAllister of Oxford, NC, six sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Gloria A. Royster will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Island Hill Christian Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. John E. Jefferson, Sr. officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A mask is required for all viewings and services. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
