Giles Edward Boulden

Mr. Giles Edward Boulden, 93, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Sentara MeadowView Terrace, Clarksville, VA. Mr. Boulden was born June 26, 1923 in Nelson, VA to the late Edward and Sylvia Scott Boulden. He received his education in Mecklenburg County, VA Public Schools and Bayonne and Jersey City, NJ Public Schools. While in New Jersey, he was employed by the US Postal Service, retiring as a Postal Security Officer after 32 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boulden was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Davis Boulden; two brothers, Charles and Thomas Boulden and one sister, Emma Boulden Binford. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Sandra Porter-Marrow of Oxford, NC and Sylvia Boulden Hicks (Leroy) of Buffalo Junction, VA; four grandchildren, Scott Liggions of Plainfield, NJ and Dr. Christopher Porter (Dr. Tomiko Porter ) of Indianapolis, IN, Nicole Liggions of Charlotte, NC and Suzanne Liggions Way of North Plainfield, NJ; six great-grandchildren, Camille Liggions, Faith and Yvette Way, Nicholas and Donovan Porter and Justin Baker; special friends, Carrie Bushrod of Columbus, GA, Joe Robbin (Ann) and James McGill (Deloris) all of Jersey City, NJ and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Giles Edward Boulden will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 2, 2017 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. James W. Lester delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Public viewing will begin on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
