Georgia Maryzetta Jennings

Mrs. Georgia Maryzetta Jennings, 79, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, June 22, 2020 at Lake Taylor Transitional Care Hospital, Norfolk, VA. Mrs. Jennings was born in Shelby, NC on August 17, 1940 to the late Ellis and Georgia Mae Hardeman. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Keysville, VA, and a former seamstress for Jonbil, Inc. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Jennings, Sr., and a son, Douglas Jennings, Jr. Cherishing her memories are two children, Deloris Michelle Jennings of Skipwith, VA and David Ellis Jennings of Chase City, VA, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Georgia M. Jennings will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 26, 2020 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
