Mr. George Luis Escobar III (“Georgie”), 28 of South Hill, VA entered into eternal rest Monday, May 11, 2020 at his residence. Georgie was born in West Covina, CA on July 31, 1991 to George Luis, Jr. and Stephanie Ann Gonzales Escobar. He was a graduate of Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Arizona 2009. Georgie was an entrepreneur when it came to the car industry. He had a strong love, respect, and passion for auto mechanics. He was quick on his feet and was a fast learner. Georgie was a beloved son and brother, and adored grandson, nephew, cousin, best friend, classmate, and neighbor who was an outstanding bright soul. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, listening to music, and spending time with his family. We all have our own memories of Georgie. He always made us laugh with his quirky sense of humor that found a way to lift our spirits no matter what the situation was. He had a very caring compassionate soul, and cared about animals as well as the wellbeing of others. These are the things we will remember and hold dear in our hearts. George leaves to cherish his precious memories; his parents, George Luis, Jr. and Stephanie Ann Gonzales Escobar of South Hill, VA; sister, Salina Khan; brother, Jesse Escobar; maternal grandfather, Steve Gonzales; maternal grandmother, Rosemary Gonzales, God Father, Luis Escobar; God Mother Lorraine De Trinidad and God Father Tony De Trinidad; nieces, Khyla Khan and Aviana Khan; brother- in-law, Arshad Khan; aunts, Antoinette Aranda, Vanessa Corral, Gina Ortiz; uncle, Raymond Ortiz; cousins, Lil Tony De Trinidad, Anthony Ruelas, Mario Ruelas, Andrew De Trinidad, Jeri Ann Salazar, Ariel De Trinidad, Savanna Silva, Jazmyne Gomez, AnnaBelle Aranda, Tonia Hayes, Tamasia Cooke, Nate Hayes, uncle Ruben, cousin Lil Ruben, and his Calderon cousins, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
