Frank Wilson Young

Mr. Frank Wilson Young, 80, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. Mr. Young was born in Boydton, VA September 2, 1934 to the late William A. and Ella Weed Young. He received his early education in Smith School, Boydton, VA, and in 1957, Mr. Young relocated to Washington, DC for better employment opportunities. In 1961, he moved to New York before returning to Boydton in 1997. He was a member of Young Memorial Church of God and Christ in Boydton where he was a member of the Outreach Food Program. Mr. Young was formerly employed as a truck driver. Cherishing his memories are his wife, Lucia Young of Boydton, VA; one sister, Nancy Tarlton of Bracey, VA; two brothers, Daniel Young of South Hill, VA and Edgar Young (Victoria) of Boydton, VA; four sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law; one grand-nephew, Jerome Murray and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Frank Wilson Young will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Pastor Edgar A. Young, Officiating. Burial will follow in the Young Family Cemetery, Boydton, VA.  The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Services 11:00 A.M.
