Mr. Frank Joseph LeCoq, 91, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Friday, July 21, 2006 at the W.S. Hundley Annex, South Hill, VA.Mr. LeCoq was born in New Roads Louisiana, November 13, 1915 to the late Berthold Joseph and Rita George LeCoq. He attended the public schools in Louisiana and served in the United States Army during WWII. He was retired from the Westchester County Parks Dept. and was a member of Good Shephard Catholic Church, South Hill, VA.Mr. LeCoq was preceded in death by his wife Mary, two sons, Frank and Larry, two brothers, Earnest and Morris and one sister Ethel Smith.Cherishing his memories are two sons, Michael LeCoq and Joseph LeCoq (Linda) of Yonkers, NY; one step-son, Henry Townsend of Yonkers, NY; one step-daughter Joan Holloway (Herbert) of Chase City, VA; five grandchildren, Andrea LeCoq, Frank LeCoq, Latoyia LeCoq, Joseph LeCoq and Monique LeCoq; one sister, Jeanette LeCoq of Louisiana; devoted sister-in-law, Oneida Wilson, devoted niece, Mattie Simmons, dear friends Allen and Molly Champaigne and Sally Toone a special mail carrier Arlene Newcomb and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.A funeral mass will be said 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at the Good Shephard Catholic Church, South Hill, VA by Father Silvio Kaberia. Burial with military honors will follow in Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, VA. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St. Chase City, VA.
