Mr. Frank Arthur Parks, 80, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Monday, February 25, 2008 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA.Mr. Parks was born in Boydton, VA December 1, 1927 to the late Arthur Frank and Elwillie Duncan. Mr. Parks was educated in the Mecklenburg County School System and was employed by The Marriott Hotel in New Jersey and Norfolk, VA before retiring.He was preceded in death by three brothers, Columbus, Leroy and Abraham.Cherishing his memories are his wife, Sally T. Parks of Boydton, VA; one daughter, Diane Hargrove (late Rev. John) of Boydton, VA; two, grandchildren, John K. Hargrove, Jr., (Donna) of Des Moines, IA and Yolanda Wood (George E.) of Boydton, VA; five great-grandchildren, one sister, Elwillie Davis (the late Adolphus) of Boydton, VA, four brothers, John J. (Julia) of Florida, Ervin (Corrine), Joe (Mae Del) all of Morristown, NJ, J.D. (Late Evelyn) of Irvington, NJ; two sisters-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Mr. Frank Arthur Parks will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, February 29, 2008 at New St. Douglas Baptist Church, Boydton, VA with Rev. Chester Terry, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 216 4th Street, Clarksville, VA.
