Mrs. Frances Inez Chandler Marrow, 88, of Victoria, VA entered eternal rest Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Keysville, VA. Mrs. Marrow was born in Halifax County, VA April 30, 1928 to the late Ulysses and Inez King Chandler. She attended the schools of Halifax County, VA and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Victoria, VA. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marrow was preceded in death by her husband, Colonel Marrow; a daughter, Alice Hendricks; a son, Arthur Chandler and two brothers, James and Edward Chandler She leaves to cherish her memories nine children, Anna Crawley, Evelyn Hamlett (Eugene), Bessie Tisdale, Colonel J. Marrow (Teresa), Charlie Marrow and Ray Marrow all of Victoria, VA, Spencer Marrow of Richmond, VA, Clarence Marrow of Chase City, VA and William Marrow (Della) of Keysville, VA; 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Kirby and Christine Stovall (Leroy) of South Boston, VA, Charlotte Pearson (Aaron) of Baltimore, MD and Eva Waller; two brothers, Jack Chandler of Washington, DC and Grant Chandler of Newport News, VA; three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Inez Chandler Marrow will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, Victoria, VA with Rev. William Moore, III officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be held Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
