Fannie Miller Boyd

Mrs. Fannie Miller Boyd, 92, of Clarksville, VA entered into eternal rest Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Meadowview Terrace, Clarksville, VA. Mrs. Boyd was born in Clarksville, VA February 20, 1924 to the late Burnett and Annie Harvey Sneed. She attended school at Bluestone Mission in Clarksville, VA and was a former employee of Russell Stover Candies. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Clarksville congregation. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew Jackson Miller and by her second husband, Morton Boyd; and her son, Clarence Sneed. Cherishing her memories are one son, Andrew B. Miller of Bronx, NY; four step-children, Mattie Sue Boyd and Madeline Sarah Boyd-Moore both of Virginia and Marjorie Mae Boyd-Waller and Margaret Lena Boyd-Anderson both of Maryland; four grandchildren, Antwine King, Towanda McHenry, Keisha McHenry, and Kareem McHenry, 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one niece, Yvonne Moore of Newark, NJ; two nephews, Henry James Sneed and Charlie Lee Sneed both of Clarksville, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Clarksville, VA. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
