Eula Keene Hayes

Mrs. Eula Keene Hayes, 76, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the Hundley Center, South Hill, VA. Mrs. Hayes was born in Boydton, VA May 22, 1939 to the late Henry and Sallie Nelson Keene. She was a 1957 graduate of West End High School and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, South Hill, VA. She was formerly employed by Russell Stover Candies of Clarksville, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Milton E. Hayes, Sr., four brothers and two sisters. Cherishing his memories are three sons, Milton E. Hayes, Jr. of Chase City, VA, Alphonso R. Hayes (Ulee) of Germany and Reginald L. Hayes (Markia) of Tampa, FL;    two daughters, Gwendolyn H. Smith of Lacrosse, VA and Florence G. Hayes-Addison (Shoneric, Sr.) of Virginia Beach, VA; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren;  four sisters, Hattie Pamplin and Daisey Keene of Orange, NJ, Priscilla Williams of Kenbridge, VA and Carolyn Reid (Speed) of Elizabeth, NJ; one brother, Herman Keene (Lydia) of Pleasantville, NJ; one sister-in-law, Alice Martin of Charlotte, NC and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, South Hill, VA. with Brother Boyce Edwards, officiating.
