Estelle Pulliam Barnes

Mrs. Estelle Pulliam Barnes, 79, of Skipwith, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at VCU/MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. Mrs. Barnes was born in Mecklenburg County, VA December 31, 1935 to the late Fletcher and Francis White Pulliam. She was a 1954 graduate of West End High School. In the early sixties, she moved to Arlington, VA; while there she was employed by Marriott Hotels. In the late seventies, she returned to Skipwith, VA where she worked on the farm and babysat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a devoted friend, Eugene Mangum. She leaves to cherish her memories numerous cousins and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Estelle Pulliam Barnes will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Frankie Watson, officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Luke Baptist Church Cemetery, Skipwith, VA. Public viewing will be held on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Arrangements are by C. H.
