Erwin Tyree Robertson

Mr. Erwin Tyree Robertson, 57 of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, November 23, 2006 at Potomac Hospital, Woodbridge, VA.   Mr. Robertson was born in Mecklenburg County, VA, Nov. 22, 1949 to the late Thomas and Ruby Oliver Robertson. He was a graduate of West End high School, Skipwith, VA, a United States Army Veteran and was a Park Ranger with the Corp of Engineers. Mr. Robertson was a member of Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA.   Cherishing his memory is his wife Earline Lewis-Robertson; three daughters, Mrs. Yolanda Johnson, Hampton, VA, Mrs. Catina Randall, Houston , TX, and Ms. Tyeisha Robertson of Richmond, VA;  one step-son Kenneth Lewis, East Orange, NJ; six grandchildren, Key-C, Brittany, Ian, Teasia, Kylian and D-Zhiya; two brothers, Charles Robertson (Thelma) of South Hill, VA and Ernest Carnell Robertson of Chase City, VA; one sister, Rosemary Johnson of Jersey City, NJ; uncles William Robertson and Woodrow Robertson; aunts, Josephine Robertson and Isabel Robertson; a special mother-in-law, Ella Lewis of Orange, NJ and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Erwin Tyree Robertson will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer, officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7 until 8 P.M. at Giles-Harris Funeral Home.   Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
