Ernest Eugene Davis

Mr. Ernest Eugene Davis, 74, of Warfield, VA entered eternal rest Friday, January 28, 2011 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, VA. Mr. Davis was born in Lunenburg County, VA July 19, 1936 to the late Ernest Davis and Ester Hurt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Victoria, VA. Cherishing his memories are a very devoted friend, Dorothy Davis of Warfield, VA; five step-children, Alfred Green, Regina Fields, Armstead Green and Marcellus Green all of McKenney, VA and Alphonza Green  of Broadnax, VA; a very devoted granddaughter, Tiffany Beckles of McKenney, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Ernest Eugene Davis will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church, Victoria, VA with Rev. Joseph Fields delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 12:00 Noon until service time. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
