Emmitt Wilson

Mr. Emmitt Wilson, 80, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, Jan 22, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Wilson was born in Charlotte County, VA April 23, 1929 to the late Alice McCargo. He attended school in Charlotte County, VA and was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA. Mr. Wilson was a retiree of Morgan Lumber Company. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Helen Castillo-Wilson of Chase City, VA; one step-son Elgie Boyd of Maryland; one step-granddaughter, six sisters, Blanche Wood of Saxe, VA, Ruth Dailey of Red Oak, VA, Betty Mosley of Wylliesburg, VA Alice Brogdon of Capital Heights, MD, Margie Royster of Chase City, VA and Barbara Staten of Richmond, VA; his father-in-law, Allen Winn Sr., six brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law; special friends Bill Whitehead, Edward Taylor, William Taylor sr., Vera Jardia and a vast number of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Emmitt Wilson will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
