Elwillie Victoria Davis

Mrs. Elwillie P. Davis, 89, of Boydton exchanged time for eternity on Wednesday, May, 20, 2020 in Morristown, NJ. Mrs. Davis was born in Boydton, VA on June 7, 1930 to the late Arthur and Elwillie Duncan Parks. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, and at an early age joined Saint Paul Baptist Church in Boydton. She loved to be with her family and sit around and talk about old times. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus L. Davis; brothers, Leroy, Columbus, JD, Abraham and Arthur Parks. She leaves not to mourn, but to cherish her precious memories six children, Elwillie Jackson (Walter) of Morris Plains, NJ, Sandra Rudolph of Morristown, NJ, Ronald Davis (Carolyn) of South Hill, Lillian Richards (Kenneth) of Battle Creek, MI, Barry Davis of Dover, NJ and Regina Davis of Newport News; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Joe Parks (Mae) and Ervin Parks (Chlorine) all of Morristown, NJ and John Parks of Palm Bay, FL, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Elwillie P. Davis will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Thursday, May 28, 2020 at Saint Paul Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton with Rev. Dennis King officiating. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville.
