Ella B. Branch

Mrs. Ella B. Branch, 65, of Baskerville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Branch was born in Eutaw, Al, July 5, 1943 to the Isaiah and Lella Pickens Logan. She received her education at Carver High School, Eutaw, Al. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA and a homemaker. Cherishing her memories is her husband. Walter Branch, Sr. of Baskerville, VA; four children, Walter Branch, Jr. (Sheryl) of Charlotte, NC, Leslie Bernard Branch (Dara) of Nyack,  NY, Dorothea and Laura Branch both of Greensboro, NC; eight grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Ella B. Branch will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. E. Douglas Reams, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St. Chase City, VA.
