Ms. Elizabeth Martin of Cambria Heights, NY and formerly of Clarksville, VA, entered eternal rest Sunday, February 12, 2006 in Cambria Heights, NY Mrs. Martin was a 1957 graduate of West End High School, a graduate of Virginia State College, Petersburg, VA and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from the University of New York. She was a retiree of Chemical Bank, Manhattan, NY. Cherishing her memories are her mother, Mrs. Lucille Yancey Hopson of Clarksville, VA; two sisters, Joyce Martin, Annandale, VA, and Rev. and Mrs. Amon of Wedowee, AL; one brother, Clem M. Martin (Mattie) of Annandale, VA; one step-sister, Teresa Dyer of Jamaica, NY; two step-brothers, John L. Hopson of Los Angeles, CA and Warren Hopson of New Orleans, LA; five aunts, four uncles, caregivers over a period of many years; Audrey Jackson, Julie Phelps, David and Barbara Gordon, Dr. Dixon-Gordon, Mozell Braithwaite, and Paul Gordon. Funeral services for Ms. Elizabeth Martin will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Cornelius Ogburn and Rev. William Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Cedar Grove Baptist Church #2, P. O.
