Elizabeth Jones Bryson

Mrs. Elizabeth Jones Bryson, 89, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Friday, August 11, 2006 at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. Mrs. Bryson was born in Boydton, VA March 6, 1917 to the late James and Annie Shelton Jones. She received her education at the old Love School and was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Boydton, Va. She was the church clerk for many years, a member of the Senior Choir, Missionary Circle and the Pastor’s Aid Club. Cherishing her memories is one daughter, Linda Goode (Henry) of Boydton, VA, two grandchildren, Walter Lee Evans, Jr. of Petersburg, VA and Rasheera Renell Goode of Boydton, VA, four great grandchildren, Shyheim, Nasier, Nyier and Walter; one brother, Norman Jones of Boydton, VA; one aunt, Evelyn Shelton of Baltimore, MD and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Jones Bryson will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 18, 2006 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Boydton, VA with Rev. Tyrone Pulliam officiating.
