Mr. Edward Crawley, 61 of Clover, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville, VA.Mr. Crawley was born in Charlotte County, VA July 14, 1946 to the late Joseph and Frances Redd Crawley. He received his education in Charlotte County Schools and was a member of First Baptist Church, Wylliesburg, VA.Cherishing his memories are two sisters, Bernice Foster (Ira) of Clover, VA Lottie Brooks of North Carolina; four brothers, Clarence Redd of Kingston, NY, John Henry Crawley (Barbara) of Clover, VA, Joseph Junior Crawley of Halifax, VA and Johnny Watson (Oprah) of Chase City, VA; two aunts, Alma Staten of Saxe, VA and Josephine Paige of Newark, NJ; one great aunt, Betty Hamlette of Connecticut; one uncle, Mack Skipper of South Boston, VA; one great uncle, Henry Redd of Drakes Branch, VA and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.Funeral services for Mr. Edward Crawley will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Rev. Dr. James E. Scott, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
