Edna Irene Mcfail Oliver

Mrs. Edna Irene McFail Oliver, 58, of Cerro Gordo, NC entered eternal rest on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Angel House Hospice Care Center, Whiteville, NC. Mrs. Oliver was born in Chase City, VA on April 1, 1959 to Troy William Ruff and the late Minnie Pearl Sands Mcfail. Mrs. Oliver was one of fourteen children who was loved by many. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Oliver was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Sands. Cherishing her memories are her husband, Ray Oliver of Chase City, VA; her father, Troy Ruff (Victoria) of Christiansburg, VA; her siblings, Grace Ferrell of Buffalo Junction, VA, Estelle Powell (Milton) of Chase City, VA, James McFail (Carol) , Mary Tucker (Ralf) and Troy McFail all of Richmond VA, Connie Reed (Larry) of Columbus, OH, Alice Ghee of Boydton, VA, Angela Plummer (Michael), Roberto Ruff (Crystal), Victoria (Pinto), Emmanuel Ruff (Christina) and Geraldine Ruff Hernandez (Carlos); longtime friend, Cruz of Cerro Gordo, NC; devoted caregiver, Mrs. Pete, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A Memorial Service for Mr. Edna Irene McFail Oliver will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Charles Sands officiating.
