Donald Ray Wilson

Mr. Donald Ray Wilson, 67, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Sentara Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, VA. Mr. Wilson was born in Oxford, NC on September 18, 1954 to the late Ruby Odell and Francis Coley Wilson. He was a graduate of J. F. Webb High School in Oxford, NC, and a member of Jeffress Baptist Church in Clarksville, VA. Mr. Wilson was a former delivery driver for AmeriGas Propane. He cherished the time he spent as a volunteer firefighter in Granville County, NC and Clarksville, VA. He enjoyed spending time with his family, keeping up with his grandkids activities, attending church, and shooting the breeze with his good friend, William Vargo, on his front porch. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. In addition to his parents, Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his brothers, Ben Wilson, Marvin Wilson and JT Wilson and sisters, Ann Mathews (Rev. Ronnie) and Jean Wilbourne. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Elizabeth C. Wilson (Nell) of Clarksville, VA; two daughters, Stephanie Presgraves of Clarksville, VA and Becky Pfieffer (Kent) of Beatrice, NE; four grandchildren, Daniel and Hannah Presgraves of Clarksville, VA and Olivia and Wyatt Pfieffer of Beatrice, NE, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service for Mr. Donald R. Wilson will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Jeffress Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA with Rev. Kenneth Johnson delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.
