Destinee Sy'Myra Carrington

Little Miss Destinee Sy’myra Carrington age 3, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Friday, October 24, 2008 at Duke University  Medical Center, Durham, NC.  Destinee was born in South Boston, VA January 30, 2005 to Gary W. and Kim Craighead Carrington.  Cherishing her memories in addition to her parents is one brother, Ra’quel Gary Carrington of Chase City, VA;  maternal grandparents, Sarah Harris of South Boston, VA and Leroy Craddock of Richmond, VA; paternal grandparents Deborah Lyons (Willie) of Clarksville, VA and Carlton Royster of Skipwith, VA; paternal great-grandmother Gracie Carrington of Clarksville, VA; maternal great-grandmother, Beatrice Craighead of Saxe, VA; four aunts, Lashauna Oliver, Tara Newton, Cheryl Goode and Leatha Craddock; seven uncles, Dwight Gilliard, Antonio Craighead, Jermaine Craighead, John Gregory, Dwayne Lyons, Brian Bullock and Leroy Junior Craddock and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Little Miss Destinee Sy’myra Carrington will be conducted 12:00 Noon Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Salem Baptist Church, Red Oak, VA with Prophet Harry L. Williams, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5 until 6 P.M. at Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main St. Chase City, VA.
