Dennis Hayes

Mr. Dennis Hayes, 53, of Buffalo Junction, VA passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his residence.

Mr. Hayes was born in Mecklenburg County on July 9, 1970 to the late Cleveland and Corine Small Hayes. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, Class of 1989. Mr. Hayes was previously employed by Burlington Industries in Clarksville, VA and later with Granville County, NC VDOT until his health declined. He loved the outdoors and rabbit hunting.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his siblings, Cleveland L. Hayes, Jr. (Joann), Linda Stewart (Willie), Connie Yancey (Thomas), Dorene Hayes, Leon Hayes, and Tracy Hayes all of Buffalo Junction, VA and Louise Epps (Tony) of Chatham, VA; three nieces, Melissa Hayes, Channa Fleming and Dynashia Epps; three nephews, Ta’Quan Stewart, Anthony Hayes and Deavion Epps, seven aunts, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Hayes will be conducted 1:00 P. M., Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Jim White speaking. Burial will follow in the Hayes Family Cemetery, Buffalo Junction, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will begin on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. until 12:45 P.M.
