Dennis Gray Alexander

Mr. Dennis Gray Alexander, 70, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, April 9, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Alexander was born in Brooklyn, NY January 31, 1950 to the late Freddie Gray and Salley Alexander. He attended East End High School, South Hill, VA and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Boydton, VA. He was formerly employed by Lewis Tree Service of Chase City, VA. In his free time, Mr. Alexander enjoyed fishing and riding his bike and scooter. He leaves to cherish his memories three children, Akim Simmons (Constance) and Dennis Alexander, Jr. all of Boydton, VA and Michael Jefferson of Newark, NJ, five grandchildren, a sister, Connie Alston of East Orange, NJ; two brothers, Thomas Overby of South Hill, VA and David Gray of Boydton, VA; devoted friend, Sadie Wood, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
